Part III: You Just Don't Get It

Part Three begins as each character is swept deeper into the mystery surrounding the World Worshipers, Senator Baxton's murder, Sam's Town, and for Nancy: International Travels.

Nancy pleaded with her grandmother to help her get to Ambassador Seamus Grant, her fiance who is imprisoned far away.  When her grandmother refuses and Nancy is ready to accept her sister-in-law offers to help.  The next chapter will take place while she is landing in Spain to begin her journey to Italy and then to Crete.

Dell, who was a friend of Nancy's during college, is hidden not far from his home.  He is hiding from federal agents who have taken over his house and most of his town, Sam's Town.  There is little press on the matter and things are only getting more dangerous.  He and his companions, a group of militant World Worshipers, have already lost a member to the federal agents.  In the meantime he can't take his eyes off of the daughter of Oblivion Apex, the head of the Newtopian chapter of World Worshipers.  And he can't take his mind off of his family and if they're still okay.  The Worshipers are encouraging caution but how patient can Dell be with his family in danger?

Clarence has been assigned to help with a kidnapping case in Sam's Town by his agency.
An old contact of his who is named Dell is believed to have been kidnapped. When Clarence arrives, to his astonishment, there are four other federal agencies, one being American.  But an old colleague approached him days earlier with another mission that supersedes and includes the kidnapping case. "They can not know" Norman Oakland had told Clarence.  He and his current partner, Mary, begin to suspect it's more than a kidnapping or if there even was a kidnapping.  He misses his family but is beginning to be absorbed in the 'who' and 'what' of the case.

Seamus Grant is an ex-Ambassador for Newtopia now imprisoned for international conspiracy and espionage.   He was shot twice in the head after he was ruled guilty. With nothing less than a miraculous recovery Grant wakes up in the new Cretan International Super-Prison.  Denied legal help from his homeland, Newtopia, Grant rages in his cell and at the prison personnel.  He despairs of ever seeing Nancy, his fiance, ever again.  He holds onto the hope that evidence he hid on the outside will find it's way into the right hands and eventually set him free.
