Part II: The Greater the Loss (with update)

Clarence Delaney is being moved off of his case.  A case that was linked directly to Senator Baxton's death.  And in refusing to give up how he got the information Grant is bullied into a new case.  A small uninteresting case, for now.  And something is amiss at home since his ex-wife just arrived seemingly out of the blue.

Hope is moved by the drama between her friends' recent engagement and more recently: break off of the engagement.  Using a life lesson she learned in Spain during her years in Graduate school she pushes Josh Barnum to re-capture Crystals heart by "doing the opposite."

Dell was poisoned and captured by the World Worshipers, a religious group, during a routine smuggling operation where he helps people escape Newtopia.  One of the leaders knew or knows Dells father and lets Dell go, even apologizing for the misunderstanding.  He grants Dell freedom to walk amongst them and their hidden cove but makes two stipulations: "don't touch my things... or my daughter".

Sam's Town: Location of Clarence Delaney's new assignment.
Seamus Grant wakes up barely conscious in a world away from his fiance and bound to his hospital bed in the Cretan International Prison.  After the guilty verdict and no word from his homeland, Newtopia, Grant is sentenced to prison time.  In the confusion after the trial Grant was injured.  With fear and suspicion guiding him he falls from his bed to attempt escape only to find a kindly old man standing above him.  Embarrassment yields to fatigue when he passes out again dreaming of Hope, his fiance, and Baccelli, his brother.
